The worlds biggest dog is a Great Dane by the name of Giant George. Giant George holds two records, one for world’s tallest dog and one for world’s tallest dog every. Even though Giant George is huge, he’s very gentle.
The world’s tallest building is currently under construction, it is called the Kingdom Tower and it is located in Jeddah. The second tallest building, and current world record holder is the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. The Kingdom Tower will be over 500 ft. taller than the Burj Khalifa, wow!
The Bagger 288 Bucket Excavator is the world’s biggest machine. It was manufactured by a company named Krupp, this amazing machine stands nearly 311 feet tall, is 705 feet long and weighs 45,500 tons! This incredible machine can fill 2,500 train cars with coal per day.
The world’s biggest pizza was made in 2013 by a team of 5 Italians looking to crush the previous record. The delicious monstrosity tipped the scales at over 51,000 pounds, measured 131-feet in diameter, and contained a staggering 19,800 pounds of flour, 10,000 pounds of tomato sauce, 8,800 pounds of mozzarella cheese, 1,488 pounds of margarine, 551 pounds of salt, and 55 pounds of vinegar. I’ll take pepperoni please!
OK, this one might make your skin crawl, the world’s biggest bug is called the Giant Weta. The Giant Weta is part of the Grasshopper family, and while they’re huge, they don’t bite (that’s a relief)! Some have even weighed in at nearly a half pound!
The honor of the holding the title of the world’s biggest plane goes to the Ukranian AN-225, also know as Mriya. The plane is capable of carrying so much weight, that it can even give other planes piggy-back rides. The photo below shoes the Mriya carrying the Russian space shuttle.
